What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage collection efforts on Self-Pay Accounts for designated Ambulatory Surgical Centers
- Generate patient statements and upload them to the statement vendor daily
- Initiate contact with patients regarding outstanding balances through various communication methods
- Monitor and resolve all Self Pay Accounts Receivable, ensuring follow-up at least every 30 days
- Document all patient interactions and actions taken in the client's software system

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a High School Diploma
- Healthcare billing experience required
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Windows-driven software
- Ability to maintain a cooperative work attitude towards co-workers, management, and patients

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in healthcare patient collections or customer service
- Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/10 codes
- Familiarity with reading and understanding Explanation of Benefits
- Experience with billing software systems such as AdvantX, Vision, or SurgiSource
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
