      Nexus Family Healing is seeking a REMOTE on-call Mental Health Professional to join the Southeast Regional Crisis Center (SERCC) based in Rochester, Minnesota. Nexus Family Healing is a national nonprofit network of mental health agencies with over 45 years of restoring hope for thousands of children and families through outpatient/community mental health services, foster care, adoption, and residential treatment.

      This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about mission-driven work while aligning communities and regional partners to provide the right kind of care for individuals experiencing mental health crises across southeast Minnesota.

      Pr imary responsibilities include:

      • Provide remote on-call clinical consultation services for mental health practitioners working with adults, youth, and families in crisis with associated documentation of consultation.
      • Assess and approve level of care decisions needed for clients through collaboration with clinic staff.
      • Receive remote supervision or de-briefing with designated clinical staff at least monthly.
      • Utilize trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment models based on the needs of adults, children and their families.
      • Document clinical service activity accurately and timely in four agency electronic health record systems for proper billing of all clinical services provided within the crisis center.
      • Include appropriate community partners in service delivery (i.e. case managers, other providers) and attend child and family team meetings.
      • Meet standards for productivity while maintaining appropriate documentation and files to support the services that are provided with the crisis center.

      Expected Hours of Work:

      • Participation requires the employee to commit to a maximum of a one (1) week per month rotation and a minimum commitment of one (1) week every eight (8) weeks to maintain eligibility and stay in the rotation schedule.
      • Coverage requirement will commence on Mondays at 5pm. and ends on the following Monday at 7am.
      • Weekly hours are as follows: Monday through Friday, 5pm to 7am. Saturday and Sunday 7am to 7am.
      • The employee must be available ALL assigned days. Negotiation outside of the Monday 5pm. to Monday 7am. commitment is NOT permitted. Notification of unavoidable interruptions in coverage such as illness must be made as soon as employee is aware of situation to the designated SERCC administrator on call.
      • During coverage hours, employee must be responsive to all calls from SERCC clinical staff, responding within at least THIRTY (30) minutes of each call.

        Qualifications:

        • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology or clinically related field.
        • Current Minnesota License of a LICSW or LPCC or LMFT or LP required.
        • Valid driver's license required. Must meet state regulating agency driving requirements, maintain auto insurance and pass corporate insurance eligibility standards.

        Preferred Education and Experience:

        • Two years of experience in clinical services including crisis response also preferred. Experience in providing evidence-based treatment.
