What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Triage, interpret, and input orders into computerized medication order system
- Perform drug calculations and resolve issues of denials
- Maintain knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Assist with drug preparation and dispensing under pharmacist supervision
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy-related experience
- Basic understanding of drugs, medication terminology, and metric system
- Licenses/Certifications: As required by state regulations and business needs
- Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, team player, customer service, oral communication
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in a pharmacy-related role
