      JOB SUMMARY

      The Sr. Director of Fitness Business and Operations will be responsible for developing and executing the annual business operating plan for Fitness. This includes Personal Training (PT,) Group Training (GT,) Group Exercise (GX) and emerging modalities across the fitness portfolio. The Sr. Director will develop a fitness assortment strategy informed by industry, member and team member insights and lead the development of an advanced fitness operating model that will deliver an outstanding member and team member experience. This role will work cross functionally to prioritize efforts and drive the fitness business results, partnering with our field teams to implement and sustain business models, products, and SOPS.
      ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
      * Develop and shape a comprehensive strategy, roadmaps and testing initiatives for building and scaling fitness products and experiences.
      * Create engaging member experience aligned with growth KPIS, utilizing data through throught the product lifecycle.
      * Responsible for executing and developing the fitness strategy aligned with regional needs and company-wide initiatives. Effectively articulate and execute business strategies for understanding and stakeholder alignment and manage the strategic transition from concept to practical implementation.
      * Develop new fitness products and services, working cross functionally to address business and member needs.
      * Lead a team of direct reports responsible for building and delivering field solutions.
      * Ensure cost-effective execution of fitness operations, labor management, marketing, sales and project management in collaboration with field leaders.
      * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for member service improvement, enhanced processes, and technology enabled-innovations.
      * Define, track, and analyze, overall performance, financial and operational metrics for fitness products.
      * Develop training strategies in partnership with Learning and Development (L&D) and establish score cards, SOPS, and standards for consistency and efficiency within operations.
      * Manage organizational change, promote best practices and allocate resources for business success.
      * Own the roll out and execution of new fitness tests and pilots and determine viability for full scale implementation.
      * Manage fitness financial performance, including revenue, cost of operations, and GX performance.
      QUALIFICATIONS
      Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
      * 10+ years of experience in progressive operations or fitness management.
      * Experience with product growth and optimization strategies.
      * Experience managing product implementation process.
      * Experience with project management.
      * Strong knowledge of fitness business and practices.
      * Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
      * Strong written and oral communication skills.
      * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization.
      * Ability to manage multiple priorities and independent projects, resourcefulness and the ability to meet concurrent deadlines
      * Ability to influence others who do not directly report to this position.
      Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions
      * May be required to work at a computer for on the phone for extended periods of time.
      * Regularly required to sit for long periods of time and occasionally stand and walk.
      Travel Requirement
      * Potential travel requirements to clubs and regional offices up to 35% of the time.

      Compensation Summary
      All Employees: Free Club Membership, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Basic Group Live and AD&D Insurance ($10,000), and 401k Savings and Investment Plan.
      Average of 30 hours or more per week: Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits, Paid Time Off, and Sickness Benefits (in addition to the above).
      Actual offer may vary from posted hiring range based on location, work experience, and/or education.

       

      Salary range will vary based on geography of the applicant.
      Pay Range for Los Angeles, Orange County and Seattle: $189,721.00-$217,983.00 (Exempt), $91.21-$104.80 (Non-Exempt)
      Pay Range for Bay Area (California) & New York City (incl. New Jersey): $197,970.00-$227,460.00 (Exempt), $95.18-$109.36 (Non-Exempt)
      Pay Range for San Diego & Carlsbad (California) and all other locations: $178,173.00-$204,714.00 (Exempt), $85.66-$98.42 (Non-Exempt)
