What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct novel research applying AI/ML to satellite hyperspectral imagery
- Transition research to production by deploying models for batch and online inference, as well as embedded on satellites
- Produce analytical infrastructure for AI/ML pipeline development
- Inform and mentor colleagues on AI/ML opportunities and tasks
- Publish research findings in relevant conferences and write blog posts to showcase work

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience in ML/AIMS, or a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a similar field
- Proficiency in Python, Pytorch, ML Flow/ClearML, DVC, Ray, Dask, and the Python data science stack
- Experience training models in a cloud (AWS) environment and tracking ML experiments using best practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a startup environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
