What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct analysis to drive recommendations for research, development, and acquisition decisions of space-based remote sensing architectures
- Serve as a key point of contact for specialized technical expertise in remote sensing and nuclear detection
- Lead cross-department teams in conducting specialized technical analyses and development tasks
- Perform end-to-end performance evaluations and analyses-of-alternatives using in-house or internally developed analysis tools
- Develop and present timely and technically accurate presentations and reports to communicate analysis results
What is Required (Qualifications):
- B.S. degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline from an accredited school
- 8 or more years of relevant professional, technical work experience
- Professional experience in space-related modeling and simulation, signals intelligence, or related fields
- Proficiency with software languages such as Python, C, C++, MATLAB, Fortran, or Java
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Current, active TS/SCI security clearance
- Significant experience in functional/mission areas such as signals intelligence or space surveillance
- Knowledge of Intelligence Community or U.S. Department of Defense business practices and acquisition policies
