What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with faculty from various disciplines to utilize remote sensing data for teaching and research
- Manage and develop software for processing remote sensing images, including radiometry and photogrammetry
- Oversee hardware for processing and visualization in 3D
- Independently develop methods and work with faculty, students, and partners to complete projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

What is Required (Qualifications):
- MS or PhD in remote sensing, computer science, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in advanced image and point-cloud processing techniques
- Experience with satellite, aerial, and drone-based datasets and their processing
- Proficient in coding languages such as Python and/or C-languages; experience with remote sensing software packages
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with data wrangling and database management of remote sensing data types
- Experience in applying computer vision and machine learning algorithms to spatial data analyses
- Ability to teach advanced processing techniques to students
- Experience collaborating with external groups on relevant issues
