What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Work on land cover classification using various remote sensing datasets, including satellite images, UAV images, and LiDAR data
- Develop machine learning algorithms and build Python code for remote sensing applications
- Utilize ArcGIS for image processing tasks and perform visual interpretation of aerial imagery
- Manage projects within the Remote Sensing Team, ensuring timely completion and high standards
- Contribute to proposals and reports while collaborating with other teams and external clients

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in remote sensing or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in remote sensing applications in operational or academic settings
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python
- Proficient in remote sensing and GIS software packages
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s or PhD degree in Remote Sensing or a related field
- Experience with land cover classification using object-based methods
- Demonstrated experience in project management and business development
- Familiarity with Google Earth Engine and cloud computing methods for large geo data processing tasks
