What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the Department of Defense on various projects, from rapid-development prototypes to Class A satellites
- Utilize software tools for rigorous modeling and simulation of remote sensing and electro-optical sensor systems
- Assist in developing new remote sensing concepts and technical performance requirements
- Collaborate with senior staff and department management to solve technical problems
- Interface with program office and government personnel regularly

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or in optics, physics, electrical engineering, or a related discipline
- Five or more years of experience in electro-optical system modeling and simulation
- Proficiency in a common processing language (e.g., MATLAB, Python, IDL, C/C++, or Fortran)
- Experience with electro-optical sensor systems and strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI SSBI security clearance

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in optics, physics, electrical engineering, or another STEM-related discipline
- Eight years of experience in electro-optical system modeling and simulation
- Demonstrated team leadership experience and mentoring of junior staff
- Experience in phase retrieval techniques for optical system analysis
- An active Top Secret SCI SSBI security clearance
