What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Make outgoing and incoming phone calls, provide results, and schedule appointments and surgeries
- Relay information between providers and patients
- Opportunities for advancement to supervisory roles within the department
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Excellent telephone customer service skills
- Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record system, scheduling system, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Typing speed of 35+ wpm
- Minimum education and certification/licensure as a Medical Assistant
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role
