      Remote Tier 1 Support Engineer – DartNode.com

      DartNode.com is a global cloud hosting provider offering high-performance VPS, dedicated servers, and colocation services. We focus on affordable, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions, serving businesses and developers worldwide. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Tier 1 Support Engineer to provide exceptional customer support and sales assistance.

      About the Role

      As a Tier 1 Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for DartNode customers, assisting them via live chat and support tickets. Your responsibilities will include technical support, troubleshooting, and pre-sales assistance, helping customers select the right DartNode plan or service to meet their needs.

      This role is ideal for someone with a passion for cloud hosting, networking, and customer service who enjoys problem-solving and working remotely in a fast-paced, global environment.

      Responsibilities

      • Respond to customer inquiries via live chat and support tickets.
      • Provide basic troubleshooting for hosting, cloud, and networking issues.
      • Assist customers in selecting the right plan or service based on their requirements.
      • Guide customers through account setup, configurations, and best practices.
      • Escalate complex technical issues to Tier 2 support when needed.
      • Maintain professional and fluent written English communication.
      • Work independently and as part of a remote support team.

      Requirements

      • Basic knowledge of cloud hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, and networking.
      • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer issues effectively.
      • Excellent written English skills for clear and professional communication.
      • Ability to work on a shift schedule to provide timely support.
      • Previous experience in technical support, hosting, or cloud services is a plus.

      Compensation & Benefits

      • $350 USD per month, starting salary.
