What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide educational and support programs to enhance deployment readiness for service members and their families
- Conduct outreach efforts targeting at-risk groups, including first-term service members and socially isolated families
- Deliver training and workshops on various topics including deployment readiness, financial management, and transition assistance
- Liaise with commands to ensure deployment services and materials are effectively communicated
- Facilitate career decision-making and personal financial management for service members and their families

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a social science or related behavioral science field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in providing advocacy services and collaborating with various resources
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct presentations and training
- Familiarity with social services and education delivery systems
- Knowledge of state, federal, and local resources relevant to military families

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with family programs or military social service agencies
- Knowledge of the FFSMIS system
- Understanding of the military lifestyle as a military family member
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications
- Experience in providing consultative services related to career and financial management
