What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide educational and support programs to enhance deployment readiness for service and family members
- Conduct outreach efforts targeting at-risk groups, including single parents and foreign-born spouses
- Deliver training and workshops on various topics such as deployment support, family readiness, and financial management
- Facilitate career decision-making and personal financial management for service members and their families
- Ensure accurate documentation of services delivered in the scheduling module in FFSMIS

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a social science or related behavioral science field, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in providing advocacy services and collaborating with various resources
- Strong oral and written communication, assessment, and advocacy skills
- Knowledge of state, federal, and local resources relevant to military families
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with family programs, military or civilian social service agencies
- Familiarity with the FFSMIS system
- Experience as a military family member with an understanding of the military lifestyle
