What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as a key contributor in permitting/zoning, project risk assessments, and environmental concerns for utility-scale renewable energy storage projects
- Support land use, permitting, and zoning inquiries/public hearings for renewable energy projects
- Develop and implement a cohesive renewable project development permitting, zoning, and environmental management framework
- Collaborate with Development Leads on specific permitting initiatives to ensure projects meet NTP/COD deadlines

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1-3 years of experience supporting the build-out of complex permitting strategies for large infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to draft land zoning analysis and permitting plans for energy infrastructure sites
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work hands-on with Project Developers
- Successful track record in supporting permitting strategies that lead to project NTP/COD status
- Direct experience with land entitlement, environmental regulations, and land development strategies

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Understanding of national energy markets as they relate to land permitting requirements, including PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, and CAISO
