- Manage contractors and trade-specific vendors at project level to ensure all repairs, improvements, and maintenance items are completed on time, at cost, and to quality standards.
- Develop and maintain partnerships through timely, concise, and helpful communication.
- Collaborate with property management team to resolve any new move in resident issues with urgency and excellent customer service follow up.
- Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.
- Utilize project quality and resident experience reporting to achieve company goals.
- Proactive communication to ensure all internal and external parties are aware of project statuses and potential obstacles.
- Proven competency in project management and quality control
- Ability to travel quarterly to markets within region al territory
- Solution oriented, goal driven, collaborative
- Models professional verbal and written communication
- Ability to adapt to new software and technology quickly
- Comfort working in fast paced, changing environment
- Proficiency in Excel and Power Point
- Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, hospitality management
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in project management or relative field

Your Role:
The Renovation Project Manager is the lynchpin of delivering a fantastic resident experience and high quality home for the HPA portfolio. The RPM is the conductor of the symphony – ensuring that renovation projects stay on track and result in a delightful home. In your role as an RPM, you will collaborate with our external vendor partners and internal teams such as our budgeting and field quality control teams to deliver the project and own the determination of when we’ve achieved the high standards we set for quality before putting a home on the market. Your success determines how quickly we can complete these projects, how fast we can lease them, and the first impression we deliver to our residents.
