What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle customer accounts with speed and accuracy while maintaining professionalism
- Conduct phone calls to comply with regulatory and legal standards regarding delinquent accounts
- Evaluate accounts to negotiate payment arrangements and avoid repossession
- Document all interactions clearly and concisely, noting reasons for hardship
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to resolve inquiries
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in financial services or a similar industry preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Internet-based applications
- Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and professional phone etiquette
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Experience with skip tracing and persuasive negotiation skills
- Ability to multi-task and make decisions regarding replevin actions
- Strong understanding of repossession and collection laws
- Proven customer service skills with quick problem-solving abilities
