      The Commercial Representative is responsible for managing and overseeing internal and external marketing accounts. Their responsibilities include searching for commercial opportunities, coordinating with logistics and operations to ensure effective customer service, and maintaining relationships with clients.

      • Represents the commercial organization relying heavily on relationships within the industry.
      • Liaison between Enterprise Transportation Company (ETC) and the various internal organizations within Enterprise Products.
      • Field and locate business opportunities for ETC.
      • Identify and formulate rates for internal and external business that include reviewing/approving all rate and accessorial inquiries, disputes, and requests.
      • Travel to meet current/potential customers to enhance/maintain relationships.
      • Communicate/strategize/optimize with schedulers to ensure efficient lanes and utilization are met at each terminal.
      • Maintain/Oversee AR statuses in conjunction with clients to ensure accounts are current.
      • Effectively manage terminal access agreements and transportation service agreements between internal legal and external legal teams

      The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

      • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. A degree in Engineering, Accounting, or Finance is preferred.
      • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience working in the energy industry.
      • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically.
      • Ability to multitask and have a common sense approach to problem solving.
      • Ability to interact with customers, partners and different disciplines.
      • Experience reading, interpreting, negotiating, and understanding contracts.
      • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment, multi-task in a fast pace environment, and be detail oriented yet able to grasp the big picture.
      • Strong personal initiative and effective time management are essential to develop knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill job responsibilities in an independent, thorough manner.
