What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage qualitative and quantitative research projects related to Michigan's direct care workforce
- Design and execute a comprehensive research agenda to evaluate workforce needs and challenges
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies and community organizations
- Analyze data and prepare reports that drive policy recommendations and program improvements
- Facilitate communication of research findings to diverse audiences

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four-year college degree in Business Administration, Finance, Social Work, Sociology, or a related field
- 1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in research administration or related fields
- Completion of Essentials of Research Administration (MSU Certificate) or equivalent within one year of hire
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- At least 5 years of experience in conducting research with expertise in qualitative and quantitative methodologies
- Experience in workforce development or direct care sectors
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SPSS, Stata, R, or NVivo
- Background in grant writing and project management
- Commitment to social justice and improving conditions for under-resourced workers
