What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage pre-award process for faculty, including proposal development and submission
- Handle post-award activities for sponsored accounts, including financial monitoring and closeout
- Serve as a back-up for other research administrators
- Collaborate with peers to share best practices
- Participate in training and volunteer opportunities

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of experience for Associate level, 3 years for Intermediate level, and 5+ years for Senior level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in research administration, accounting, or finance
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Commitment to customer service, teamwork, and diversity

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Research Administrator (CRA)
- Knowledge of University systems and processes
- Experience with administrative tools such as Business Objects, MReports, and Concur
- Familiarity with university central offices like UMOR and Sponsored Programs
