      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide pre-award research administration support to faculty investigators and departments within the School of Medicine
      - Manage the proposal development process, ensuring compliance with technical, administrative, and financial requirements
      - Prepare non-technical components of research proposals, including budgets and administrative documentation
      - Maintain compliant Other Support documents for faculty involved in NIH and Department of Defense funded research
      - Facilitate completion of compliance and training requirements with Principal Investigators

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree and prior relevant work experience in a financial, compliance, or research-related field
      - Minimum of 3 years of pre-award research administration experience
      - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe
      - Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills
      - Ability to work in a diverse environment and adapt to changing priorities

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's and/or Master's degree preferred
      - 3-5 years of direct pre-award research experience in an academic medical center or significant NIH grant portfolio
      - Demonstrated experience fostering an environment of professionalism and respect among diverse populations
