What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct simple to complex research projects using quantitative and qualitative methods
- Evaluate the implementation and impact of criminal justice programs and policies
- Develop data visualizations and dashboards for research projects
- Manage various aspects of project management, including scheduling and progress reports
- Prepare IRB proposal development and progress reports for research projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience conducting research
- Master’s degree in a social science discipline is preferred
- At least 3 years of full-time professional experience working with criminal justice agencies
- Proficiency in statistical software and programming (SPSS, R, SQL) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced skills in using Microsoft Power-BI to create data dashboards
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, including students, practitioners, and policymakers
