What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Foster relationships with students, staff, faculty, and leadership within assigned areas
- Provide research and instructional support for health sciences programs
- Partner with faculty to develop and deliver instruction sessions and workshops
- Support clinical and community-based participatory research demands
- Collaborate across VCU Libraries to shape and promote library outreach programs

What is Required (Qualifications):
- ALA-accredited graduate degree or accredited graduate degree in another appropriate discipline
- Ability to effectively search databases such as PubMed, CINAHL, or other biomedical databases
- Experience delivering instruction or training effectively
- Demonstrated experience working in a diverse environment
- Commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in a related discipline
- Experience as a liaison librarian to health sciences programs
- Familiarity with specialized sources and research methods for health sciences or pharmacy
- Evidence of creativity, initiative, and flexibility
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
