What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct advanced research in the Museum's archival and library holdings for survivors and their families
- Complete research cases, including analysis, evaluation, and verification of documentation
- Provide reference and research services to Museum audiences and staff
- Train and collaborate with Museum volunteers and interns
- Recommend improvements to electronic resources based on user experience
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least one year of experience in retrieval, analysis, and presentation of name-related documentation
- Knowledge of various databases and software relevant to the role
- Familiarity with archival, published, and electronic resources in historical name-related research
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Reading knowledge of German as well as either Romanian or Polish
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as history or archival science
- Knowledge of the Museum's archival collections and related source materials
