      We are seeking a casual Research Assistant to work under the direction of a Principal Investigator (PI), Dr. Jose Madrazo, MD. The Research Assistant will work in a casual status on a clinical research study evaluating the patterns of hypertrophy and scar formation and the utilization of MRI technology in African American patients vs. non-African Americans with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The Research Assistant will assist with day-to-day data collection for the clinical research study in support of the PI. The Research Assistant will run and write both standard and non-standard reports and analyze routine data.


      Specific Duties & Responsibilities

      • Run routine and ad hoc reports from research database.
      • Perform data collection for studies and develop data reports.
      • Assist with data acquisition and analysis.
      • Pull clinical data from patient charts and populate in RedCap database.
      • Perform data cleaning measures to ensure accuracy of data.

      Minimum Qualifications
      • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
      • Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.


      Preferred Qualifications
      • Some related experience.

      Starting Salary Range: $17.00 - $30.00 HRLY ($16,779 targeted; Commensurate with experience)
