What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct day-to-day operations of research projects in the Division of Cancer Control and Prevention
- Design study methodology for human subjects’ behavioral research and epidemiological studies
- Develop study materials, plan and implement interventions, and monitor project progress
- Generate progress and final reports, and assist in creating scientific manuscripts and grant applications
- Maintain data security and confidentiality while managing project timelines and documentation

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in public health or social or natural science from an accredited institution
- Experience in public health or patient services is required
- Proficiency with statistical analysis and epidemiology methods is highly preferred
- Ability to work independently and under supervision
- Regular and prompt attendance at work is necessary

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in public health
- Experience with background research and literature reviews
- Familiarity with Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocol development and management
- Skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic medical record systems
- Prior experience in patient recruitment and survey/interview administration
