What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate on government-funded research or evaluation projects, including taking detailed notes during client interactions
- Assist in research or evaluation study design, implementation, and reporting
- Conduct literature reviews in human and health services research areas
- Participate in focus groups, training, and research-related site visits as necessary
- Support qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, contributing to written reports for varied audiences

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Basic understanding of research and evaluation methods
- Strong interest in human services programs or policy areas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1-3 years of experience in the social science field, including relevant coursework
- Knowledge of quantitative data analysis and/or visualization software such as SAS, SPSS, or R
- Experience with human services programs, including food assistance and child welfare
- Familiarity with conducting both quantitative and qualitative research
