What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide consultation and support for data management, metadata production, and preservation issues
- Develop and deliver educational opportunities, including hands-on workshops on data management
- Organize outreach campaigns related to research data management
- Collaborate with library colleagues and multiple stakeholders to promote data skills
- Contribute to the creation of online instructional content, such as videos and tutorials

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Library/Information Science or relevant academic discipline, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of related experience
- Knowledge of foundational research data management principles and best practices
- Familiarity with emerging trends in research data and open research practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Proficiency in public speaking and providing instruction to varying skill levels

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience providing full data lifecycle support, including management and curation
- Proficiency in computational environments such as Python, R, or C
- Experience with version control systems like Git and GitHub
- Experience delivering research support in an academic setting
- Ability to create various online materials, including videos and blog posts
