What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and implement complex traffic safety research studies and data monitoring efforts
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses and utilize data extraction languages (SAS, R, Python, SQL)
- Write formal project reports and submit grant proposals
- Participate in task forces and pilot programs aimed at improving driver safety
- Act as a subject-matter expert in traffic safety and DMV operations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have authorization to work in the United States
- Background investigation clearance required prior to hire
- Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience in conducting social-behavioral research and data analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software and data management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in traffic safety research or DMV operations
- Familiarity with grant writing and project management
- Knowledge of driving under the influence (DUI) issues and related safety measures
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- Strong communication skills for presenting to diverse audiences
