What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop infrastructure for generating data for training and evaluation at scale for autonomy, focusing on planning performance
- Create mechanisms for categorization, curation, and cleaning to deliver high-quality datasets from both simulation and real-world sources
- Design metrics and evaluation pipelines to understand and enhance autonomy performance
- Champion engineering excellence by ensuring high-quality, well-structured, and tested code
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and research scientists to enable safe self-driving at scale

What is Required (Qualifications):
- MS/PhD or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a similar technical field
- Demonstrated software engineering experience through internships, work experience, coding competitions, or research projects
- Experience working in a team environment on a common codebase
- Familiarity with data processing pipelines, ETL pipelines, and distributed computing
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and collaborate effectively with others
