What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree or higher in remote sensing, geospatial technology, geography, earth science, ecology, or closely related field
- Experience with algorithm development and data processing using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
- Proficiency in analyzing remote sensing data using desktop software or cloud-based platforms
- Knowledge of Python or comparable programming language and coursework in higher-level math or remote sensing
- Experience in preparing and contributing to competitive research grant proposals

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with statistical analysis software (such as SAS, R, or MATLAB)
- Background in mathematics and physics underlying Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and experience with large datasets
- Experience in a remote sensing and/or geospatial research environment
- Demonstrated success in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace
