What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and validate Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) models of electrified vehicle control systems
- Configure subsystem plant and control models, creating full vehicle SIL models for intended use cases
- Develop tests, analyses, and debugging methods for SIL simulation systems
- Create cloud-based simulation build and test solutions utilizing High-Performance Computing
- Conduct vehicle-level cross-attribute systems analysis covering energy management and passenger comfort

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, or Computer Engineering
- 3+ years of experience with automotive electrified propulsion systems and controls
- 3+ years of experience in mechatronic simulation and embedded controls design
- 3+ years of experience with Matlab, Simulink, and programming languages such as C
- 3+ years of experience with CAN networks and tools

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s or PhD Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, or Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in embedded controls for electrified vehicle systems
- Familiarity with cloud-based computing environments (GCP, AWS)
- Hands-on experience with hardware-in-the-loop systems
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and SysML
