What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with the setup, maintenance, and repair of all research equipment
- Coordinate physical space for personnel in offices, laboratories, and shared equipment areas
- Work under the direct oversight of the Chief Electronics Technician/Building Maintenance Specialist
- Read and understand equipment manuals to ensure proper functioning of devices
- Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and office personnel

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree or equivalent in Electronic repair, Research equipment repair, Refrigeration, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in electronic repair, research equipment repair, and/or refrigeration
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with various personnel levels

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in a vocational field such as Building Maintenance, Construction, Engineering, or related
- 1 year of experience in the maintenance and repair of electronic or research equipment
- Currently a 2nd year vocational student in a relevant field
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook
