- Work with clients to define complex business objectives and understand the scope and breadth of the research initiative.
- Consult clients with design and build survey instruments.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for the client and manage all client focused communication with assistance from the research analyst.
- Serve as a thought partner to clients on various topics and attend conferences to build knowledge, client relationships and networking.
- Utilize the most appropriate research methodology and supporting techniques.
- Outline sampling plan in line with the described techniques.
- Design questionnaires based on the most appropriate research methodology to answer client objectives.
- Oversee the field work initiative and manage any escalations that arise during execution of fieldwork in partnership with the Research Analysts.
- Create analysis plans for moderate complexity studies.
- Interpret data, write reports and make actionable recommendations.
- Serve as a liaison with any assigned research vendors to uphold client and company best practices.
- Ensure quality assurance of the deliverable is in line with client's expectations.
- Mentor and coach research analysts to optimize surveys, write screeners, create analysis plans and frame/chart reports.
- Review analysis and reports for junior members in the team for accuracy, logical consistency and value add; coach and mentor them as needed.
- Serve as a knowledge resource to other internal teams, including sales and account management, product education, and product development teams.
- Consistently develop own knowledge to match industry standards and broaden knowledge of methodology, techniques and tools.
- Contribute to research related learning sessions within the team and help with training and team development.
- Undergraduate degree in marketing, social sciences, or other related field, ideally with a quantitative emphasis on statistics or research methods.
- 5+ years' experience in quantitative market research, preferably supplier-side or strong DIY experience on the client/corporate side
- Experience with all aspects of online survey research: design/questionnaire writing, programming, data analysis, and reporting. Experience with advanced methodologies (e.g., conjoint, MaxDiff, segmentation, etc.).
- Experience with online survey platforms.
- Experience in CPG and/or technology verticals is also a plus.
- Direct experience using one or online survey platforms oriented toward DIY use, such as aytm, Qualtrics, Decipher, Survey Monkey, Survey Gizmo, or Question Pro.
- Ability to manage multiple projects priorities in an agile and quick-turn environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional technical skills and proven ability to troubleshoot escalations
- Strong interpersonal skills- must be able to collaborate internally as a part of team and externally with vendors and clients.
- Skilled user of the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular PowerPoint and Excel.
- Self-starter with a strong drive and motivation to have an impact.

AYTM's Research Services team primarily caters to full-service and assisted service accounts and is responsible for client facing market research responsibilities working with clients to define complex business objectives, selecting appropriate research methodology, designing surveys, survey programming, survey fielding and execution, data analysis and reporting.
This role will require: 1) Experience managing all aspects online survey research 2) Expertise in managing multiple priorities and communicating with stakeholder groups 3) Strong attention to detail and 4) A solution-oriented and customer focused approach.
