      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide embedded analytic support to Departments of Corrections (DOCs) for targeted analysis projects
      - Supervise and mentor 2-3 embedded data analysts in DOCs
      - Co-develop analysis plans and manage multiple projects within complex initiatives
      - Conduct data analysis using case-level criminal justice data and present findings to stakeholders
      - Develop and implement processes to improve data quality and sustainability for DOCs

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in a related field such as social science, public policy, or criminal justice
      - Minimum of seven years of work experience in research, analysis, criminal justice, or equivalent
      - Proficiency in data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis, with expertise in data security protocols
      - Experience with relational databases and proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., R, SAS, SQL, Python)
      - Strong oral and written communication skills to present complex data clearly to varied audiences

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience providing mentorship or supervision to researchers, data scientists, or interns
      - Proven success in applying research or data science to real-world programmatic and policy issues
      - Familiarity with quality assurance techniques and reproducible research practices
      - Knowledge of criminal justice systems, public policy, or government settings
      - Experience working on collaborative, multi-stakeholder projects across agencies
