What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contribute to and author applied and academic research projects in collaboration with community partners, faculty, staff, and students
- Identify, collect, compile, and analyze publicly available data for research purposes
- Build and maintain policy and other databases
- Write and edit research reports, ensuring clarity and accessibility
- Analyze current research and policies, compiling supporting information for ongoing projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with at least two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience conducting research and analysis related to policy
- Demonstrated ability to build research and policy-related databases
- Excellent verbal, written, and public presentation skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage multiple competing deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's or advanced degree in public policy, law, labor relations, or a related discipline
- Significant experience with policy analysis and community-based organizations
- Experience with policy and demographic data collection and analysis
- Familiarity with housing policy and tenant organizing
