- In partnership with Key Stakeholders, this position will develop, modify existing, and maintain to keep up-to-date written training curriculums/materials (virtual and in-person), visual aids, manuals, guides, forms, videos, and presentations for the research operations team.
- Ensures all training materials and related documents are prepared in a user-friendly, understandable, clear, concise, accessible, and visually appealing format, and are well-written and thoroughly proofed.
- Establish an onboarding plan with checklists and associated documents that are organized, easily accessible, maintained, and current.
- Determine implementation plans, schedules, resource needs, and supporting logistics for delivery of training initiatives.
- Manage external resources, as needed, to maximize cost effectiveness and quality.
- Facilitate training and enlist others for facilitation, as needed.
- Consistently reviews participant training evaluations and learning outcomes to ensure training is useful and effective, then revises as necessary based on feedback.
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
- 10+ years' instructional design work experience of clinical trials with documented training, knowledge, and application of current GDA Regulations, GCP, and ICH
- Experience with Articulate or similar software for educational module creation
- Advanced computer skills with all Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- RN or Certification in Specialty area
- ACRP Certification or CCRC Certification
- Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD)
- Certified Instructional Designer

Our Research Training Manager is part of SCRI's Global Quality & Education team and is responsible for managing all aspects of business unit (CRO or SMO) research operations training. In addition, this role will provide ongoing support to clinical trial research staff through continuing education and training as needs are identified by staff, leadership, or external entities.
