      Overview

      Resource Manager

      Responsibilities and Duties:

      • Responsible for the management of up to 80 field technicians, including Project Management and career development.
      • Receives project information/scope from Sales and established project timelines.
      • Identifies resources for scope and allocates team.
      • Responsible for onsite presence at project start up and close.
      • Responsible for performing site audits to assure safety, quality and personnel policies are in compliance.
      • Manage customer purchase order progression to assure projects are completed on time and within budget.
      • Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of all project documents.
      • Responsible for the procurement of materials and special tools to support scope.
      • Responsible for internal and customer project reporting as needed
      • Act as customer liaison for project progress and help to develop future business opportunities.
      • Technical assistance in the field (hands on) may be required on occasion.
      • Responsible for approving timesheets and billing for assigned projects.
      • Assist in defining the product strategy and roadmap.
      • Support sales efforts as technical expert in the industry.
      • Act as a leader within the company.
      • Safety and vehicle incident management
      • Responsible for growth and implementation of training programs and report documentation.
      • Responsible for assisting with technical training programs, development and execution.
      • Enforces safety guidelines and procedures. Acts as a safety role model and understands behavioral based safety. Understands the technical and practical aspects of the job and helps to ensure safe work practices are being followed.
      • Assist the hiring team with the technical screening of candidates as needed.
      • Responsible for supporting the management of the Network fleet program including disciplinary functions.
      • Using engineering judgment and data to make sound business decisions. Engages cross functional groups throughout decision process to gather information and gain consensus.

      Qualifications:

      • High school diploma required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
      • 5 years’ experience as a project manager, project lead, or other management experience which have included managing large projects to successful outcome preferably in a related service, industrial or manufacturing setting.
      • Technical background with 5 years of Field experience in the Wind industry.
      • Demonstrated ability to train, build and lead a high performing technical team/operation.
      • Proven ability to uphold high standards, demonstrate accountability and take ownership as a highly self-driven leader.
      • Proven ability to facilitate multiple groups to work together to address challenging and complex problems.
      • Functions effectively under pressure in environments of rapid change and conflicting demands and is capable of multi-tasking.
      • Proven issues resolution and structured problem solving methodologies. Drives improvement in existing products and services to better meet customer needs.
      • Demonstrated ability to achieve customer loyalty excellence through effective relationships and demonstration of value differentiation. Strong negotiation and customer service skills.
      • Excellent English communication skills (verbal, active listening, written, meeting management, presentation).
      • Valid driver’s license, passport, and ability to travel as needed to meet business objectives.
      • Strong PC computer skills (MS office) required – Outlook, Work, Excel, and PowerPoint.
      • Strong attention to detail.
      • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
      • Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
