What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee daily operations of the center in the General Manager’s absence
- Make timely decisions to allocate resources and manage team assignments
- Ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and high-quality service
- Perform miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches and brake controllers
- Engage in ongoing training through U-Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1+ years of management experience in retail or a service industry
- Experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous leadership experience in any form
- Familiarity with safety precautions related to working around moving parts and equipment
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, assisted or unassisted
- Experience with customer service and conflict resolution
