Position Summary
Enable the B2C sales channels to focus on business results by providing operational support at corporate office level and supporting the functions of retail marketing, retail development and retail operations in the day-to-day tasksA day in the life of a retail intern
As a retail intern, you will play a vital role in providing operational support by managing boutique deliveries, suppliers, and campaigns daily. Additionally, you will contribute to the maintenance of essential records such as Boutique Contact List, Leasing data, and Business License & Lease Expiry lists. Your responsibilities also extend to supporting Retail Development activities, ensuring timely closure of tickets, and assisting the Retail Head Office team in the successful rollout of projects.
A few examples of your projects and daily tasks:
Boutique Supplier Management
• Coordinates boutique supplies
• Supports improvement follow-ups and ensures deliveries are made on time
• Manages maintenance tickets to ensure timely repairs in boutiques
Understand The Business Environment
• Understands team goals and company business drivers
• Recognizes how personal contribution impacts the business
• Takes action based on understanding of customer and consumer needsWhat will make you successful?
As the successful candidate, you will be highly organised, pro-activity, and enthusiastic towards the projects you complete. Ideally you should bring:• Currently enrolled in a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year undergraduate program in business/retail
• Basic Knowledge of Retail Operations, suppliers management and/ or budget management and monitoring
• Strong computer proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Bilinguism is mandatory French & English (spoken & written)What you need to know
