What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide architectural vision and direction for capital improvements and developments
- Research new retail design concepts and trends for implementation
- Evaluate the current built environment and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with teams on design direction and support for property renovations
- Create visual collateral, including sketches and 3D renderings, to communicate ideas
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related fields
- Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience in project management, design, or architecture
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, SharePoint, and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, SketchUp, Revit)
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to travel up to 30% and maintain a valid driver's license
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Licenses and/or certificates in architecture and construction
- Direct experience within shopping center design and development
- Experience working with consultants and reviewing architectural drawings
- Familiarity with retail construction and development processes
- Ability to generate in-house design concepts and create presentations
