Marketing Activation team, Finland, is seeking for a
Retail Marketing Activation Manager
The purpose of this role is to lead the planning and implementation of own retail marketing strategy and its development in order to drive traffic to stores. Main content of the role is to plan and execute the retail marketing activities, including media planning and Myiittala communication. The ultimate goal of the function is to increase preference and grow loyalty for Iittala brand as well as support the sales by generating traffic to the stores and outlets in the Finnish market. This role reports to Senior Manager, Marketing Activation Finland while strongly co-operating with Sales -Team as well as global functions.
Key responsibilities for the Retail Marketing Manager are own retail marketing activities e.g. campaigns for Iittala stores and outlets in Finland. Campaign planning, media planning together with media agency including marketing budget planning and controlling. Providing own channels with clear monthly information package regarding activities and marketing will be part of monthly tasks. You will also support local marketing initiatives.
RMM is responsible for "Myiittala" customer loyalty program locally and execution of in-store solutions and digital newsletters. Campaign planning includes: tactical newsletters content, time schedule, segmentation and production together with retail marketing specialist.
The RMM works together with the marketing activation team in Finland and align brand campaigns & concepts for own channel according to country marketing strategy in cooperation with local Marketing Activation Managers. You will provide stores with campaign guidelines, materials & practical instructions regarding executions in store.
What we expect from you:
We are looking for an experienced candidate with minimum of 5 years working experience in a marketing set-up. Ideal candidate would have knowledge of retail dynamics and shopper behavior. We expect you to have track-record of delivering outstanding marketing results and experience from retail considered as a big plus. We appreciate a candidate with holistic and wide understanding of multichannel strategies & activities and ability to lead and form the Dtc marketing strategy. We hope that you have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate, influence and coach. Capable of working in tight time schedules and under pressure is required.
