      The Strategy Senior Manager applies deep business strategy development, architecting value, and operating model architecture skills to influence client agendas through business insight.

      Partners with our clients to make bold decisions on priority C-Suite issues at the intersection of business, technology, and operations. Provides deep understanding of our clients' industry landscape and business options in the context of global, economic, technology and social trends.

      You Are:

      A Strategy Consulting maestro with tons of experience in the Retail industry, and leadership and management skills to spare. Your expertise? Advising clients in the Retail industries on data-driven strategies to achieve their strategic, financial, and operational goals. You have energy and drive in abundance, along with personal resilience, a passion for serving clients, and a love of continual learning. You have a flair for breaking down processes into logical parts and constructing crystal-clear reasoning and analyses—an aptitude you use to decimate problems. Communication and people skills? You have both in spades, and as a manager you’re a natural at appreciating diverse perspectives and bringing out the best in teams.

      The Work:

      • Go deep to get the lay of the land of the Retail industries that clients operate in to find clients’ business options in the context of global, economic, technology, and social trends.
      • Lead teams to provide world-class business strategy solutions to clients in the Retail industries to meet the unique market and organizational need.
      • Lead teams in driving insights and recommendations using data models and visualization tools.
      • Help clients achieve long-term success by drawing up practical road maps that help them carry out strategy, manage change, monitor and gauge processes, and rectify issues if needed.
      • Build relationships with clients to sustain Accenture’s profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner.
      • Mentor junior members of the Strategy team and groom them for more responsibility.
      • Keep deepening your prowess Retail industries in order to reinforce Accenture’s reputation as a thought leader.

      Here’s What You Need:

      • Minimum 8 years of experience in the Retail space, with a preference for work in apparel and merchandising

      • Minimum 5 years experienceof in the consulting industry or equivalent in an internal consulting role

      • Proven track record of driving consulting and strategy sales with Retail clients

      • Bachelor’s degree

      • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

      Bonus Points if:

      • You have an MBA or equivalent graduate degree

      • Strong quantitative skills and analytical thinker with at least 2 years of prior experience driving insights using statistics or data analysis

      • Demonstrated experience and ability to address strategic components of the Retail industry

      • Must have a high-level understanding on how ecosystems fit into the digital world, and how digital technology is changing business

      • Well networked with client executives in the Canadian Corporate landscape

      • Demonstrated ability to leverage network and experience to originate opportunities, pipeline, and Consulting deals

      • Experience running large complex transformative programs

      • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team- oriented environment

      • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

      • Excellent leadership and management skills

      • Ability to prioritize the issues and present solutions

      • Ability to shape a value proposition

      • Ability to hold conversations with C-suite level clients

      Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.

      British Columbia $117,200 to $272,600
