What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the daily operations of retail sales, quotes/estimates, material take-offs, and product delivery
- Maintain quality of the retail floor, including signage, pricing, inventory selection, and promotional displays
- Investigate and resolve customer issues related to order processing, deliveries, and pricing discrepancies
- Lead and direct employees, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and participate in periodic safety meetings

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of five (5) years of retail or sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of company products and the building industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise resource planning (ERP) programs

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Point-of-Sales (POS) equipment
- Strong math skills and an aptitude for reading and understanding moderately complex instructions or drawings
- Prior experience in a supervisory role within a retail environment
