- Revenue Cycle Management: Oversee the entire revenue cycle, from patient registration to payment posting, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Claims Management: Manage the submission, tracking, and follow-up of insurance claims, minimizing denials and maximizing reimbursement.
- Collections: Implement and monitor effective collection strategies to ensure timely payment of patient accounts and reduce outstanding balances.
- Denial Management: Identify, analyze, and address reasons for claim denials, developing strategies to prevent future denials and recover denied revenue.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations, payer guidelines, and industry standards related to billing and coding.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall revenue cycle process.
- Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as coding, billing, and finance, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Payer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with insurance payers to negotiate payment terms and resolve billing issues.
- A strong understanding and appreciation for the trans experience.
- 2-4 years of experience working in digital health
- 2-4 years of experience in medical billing and/or claims processing.
- Experience building new systems or optimizing current processes.
- Experience communicating and managing payer relationships.
- Experience in credentialing providers in multiple states.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Computer, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Comfortable working in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Prior experience working with claim denials and submitting appeals to payers.
- Healthcare start-up experience.
- Prior telehealth experience.
- Knowledge of Elation EMR system.
- Supervisory experience.
- Prior authorization submission experience.

About the Role:
The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing all aspects of the healthcare organization's revenue cycle, from patient registration to final payment collection. This role involves overseeing billing, coding, insurance claims, collections, and related activities to ensure accurate and timely revenue generation.
This person needs to be a self-starter and comfortable reaching out for information and challenging the answers they are given. Ideally, the right candidate has a digital health background and is familiar with building new systems or optimizing current processes.
