What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate on revenue cycle activities to enhance efficiencies and reimbursement processes
- Follow patient accounts through the billing process to payors and engage with patients regarding their accounts
- Train staff on patient insurance benefits and optimal use of EPIC practice management and billing tools
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while resolving problems and challenges
- Manage relationships with multidisciplinary teams in a diverse, multicultural environment

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in billing or collecting healthcare accounts
- Knowledge of healthcare payers, regulatory policies, and Medicare guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record software
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively under competing timelines

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Associate's degree in insurance billing, business administration, health care administration, or a related field
- Knowledge of EPIC Resolute Billing
- In-depth understanding of Medicare billing codes, regulations, and procedures
- Experience working for a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
