What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and submit claims to payors, perform account follow-up activities, and update patient account information
- Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert on revenue cycle management
- Analyze and resolve complex billing and collections issues with minimal assistance
- Maintain relationships with clinical departments and external clients to address inquiries and concerns
- Input specialty charges and manage credits for cosmetic services, ensuring accurate billing

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required; college-level courses in Finance, Business, or Health Insurance preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of professional and/or hospital revenue cycle billing experience required
- Expert knowledge of regulatory requirements, payor contracts, and CSHS policies governing billing and collections
- Proficiency in CS-Link functions and multi-specialty areas of the revenue cycle
- Experience in Anesthesiology, Orthopedic Surgery, and Podiatry preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in professional billing, particularly in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding standards
- Ability to make recommendations for improved operational processes
- Experience in handling complex case resolutions and problem accounts
