What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process dental claims for payment by insurance companies, ensuring timely coding, billing, and collections
- Perform manual and electronic posting functions for all payors/patient accounts, including cash balancing and bank reconciliation
- Research and resolve claims that have been denied or rejected by insurance
- Initiate appeals and ensure all required documentation is submitted during the appeal process
- Answer patient billing questions and serve as a resource for billing inquiries

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Dental or Medical fields
- Prior experience with dental office workflows and revenue cycle functions, including scheduling and insurance verification
- Proficient in practice management software systems and intermediate PC skills, especially strong Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent math and problem-solving abilities

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with insurance portals, clearing houses, and banking reconciliation software
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team setting and as an individual contributor
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
