POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for driving the reverse logistics process including shipping, receiving and stock management. Manage returns processing with excellent attention to detail and quality assurance. Analyze returns data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement. Work collaboratively with team members to enhance customer experience related to returns.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
REVERSE LOGISTICS OPERATIONS
• Process customer returns and store recalls. Ensure quality control throughout the process
• Develop and maintain metrics and KPIs to measure efficiency of reverse logistics operations
• Support integration and standardization of returns processes across Fielmann USA manufacturing facilities
• Optimize reverse logistics operational flow
• Inspect returned items to determine suitability for resale, repair, recycling, or disposal
• Partner with customer service teams to process refunds, replacements, or other customer requests related to returns
• Communicate with internal teams and external vendor partners on returns and reverse logistics processes
• Work with vendors to optimize RTV processes. Ensure proper credits are issued
• Identify areas for improvement in reverse logistics processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Maintain accurate records of returned inventory. Ensure proper handling and storage
• Prepare reports and presentations for management on the performance of reverse logistics operational initiatives
• Support supply chain team as needed (e.g., physical inventory)
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational or technical training and/or associates degree preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience within a warehouse environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of programs (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with reverse logistics preferred
• Forklift Operator’s License is required to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks; instruction to achieve license can be provided
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as work independently
• Familiarity with logistics software
• Valid Driver’s License
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization through written and two-way verbal communication
• Able to read and write at a high school graduate level
• Able to lift and move heavy items up to 50 pounds
• Able to sit, stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Able to operate various office equipment (e.g., personal computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, etc.)
• Able to work normal and/or extended (evenings, nights and weekends) office hours to meet established deadlines
• Able to travel independently to support Company objectives and personal development
