Job summary
Rheumatology DAWN/Biologic Remote Patient Monitoring Administrator
The post holder will ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer focused and knowledgeable point of contact. To provide a consistent approach across the Trust, to ensure that functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales, as per SOPs.
The post holder will demonstrate polite, clear, accurate advice line support for patients and document all communication on EPR and DAWN, with some self-guided initiative.
The post holder will be expected to work autonomously and seek help from clinician when appropriate.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to Rheumatology patients' pathway of care for remote blood monitoring. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the remote monitoring of patients on a remote monitoring pathway is managed smoothly. The post holder will also work closely with the Rheumatology CNSs, Consultants, and Pharmacy, and ICB to support robust monitoring of the patient condition and act accordingly to the specialty instructions and SOPs. To work closely with the DAWN/Biologic team for Integrated Medicine and closely with the Rheumatology Clinical Administration Team (CAT 9) to ensure appropriate cross-cover is provided.
