- Serves as a Field Agent Supervisor on extensive projects and may coordinate the job activities of Right of Way Representatives and consultants
- Requires paralegal skills and working knowledge of real estate law to prepare legal documents such as easements, sales contracts, releases, exclusions, licenses, permits and encroachments to submit to ROW Manager for execution
- Establishes and updates project schedules and statuses in compliance with weekly and monthly reporting requirements
- Researches public records to determine property ownership and perform abstract of title to locate easements and fee title deeds, requiring abstracting skills such as those performed by an abstract company
- Protects Oncor Electric Delivery’s investment, title, and rights in its real property for both present and future use, preventing trespass, unauthorized encroachments, environmental misuse and maintenance concerns
- Provides guidance and assistance to Transmission Operations personnel on land and landowner issues
- Serves as the Oncor Electric Delivery representative to negotiate and settle damage claims from construction, maintenance or removal of Oncor Electric Delivery facilities and issues draft/check for payment
- Coordinate the closing of real property transactions with title companie
- Conducts meetings with property owners, city governments, title companies, developers, engineering consultants and other entities to coordinate projects, resolve problems and reach agreements
- Determines Oncor Electric Delivery’s rights pursuant to existing easements and other instruments, notifying appropriate departments, and acts as liaison between landowners/and or tenants to ensure cooperation and uninterrupted Oncor Electric Delivery operations
- Reviews all easements and unusual clauses as necessary in easements, deeds, licenses, leases or miscellaneous contracts and coordinates with the Oncor Electric Delivery’s Legal Department for resolution
- Determines property values of those properties obtained through the appraisal process, as well as current right of way cost, land uses, crop yield values, and production costs
- Working knowledge of Oncor Electric Delivery and Departmental policies and procedures, working knowledge of real estate law with special knowledge of eminent domain (condemnation) proceedings, knowledge of real estate industry practices, procedures, documents, public real estate records, appraisal techniques, and familiarity with regulatory and environmental rules and regulations
- Commercial real estate experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills
Salary Range: $91,096 - $121,461

Working with minimal supervision, the incumbent serves as Oncor Electric Delivery’s representative in acquiring clear title to real estate properties (fee land and easements) that are necessary for the construction of Oncor’s transmission and distribution facilities. The incumbent will manage Oncor owned right of way assets to protect Oncor’s title and interest, prevent encroachments, trespass and environmental misuse where applicable. The incumbent looks for ways to produce revenue, maintains owner/customer relations to prevent or minimize complaints, disputes and potential litigation. The Senior Representative acts as a negotiator and mediator on behalf of Oncor with respect to relocation of facilities, and acquisition and protection of Oncor’s land and land rights. The Senior Representative may assist the Manager in on-the-job training of new Right of Way Representatives.
